Faithful God, here I stand,
Heart in hand, not understanding Your plan.
But I know You’re near, and I know You’re true,
So I lay it all down and trust in You.
So often I carry what You never asked me to hold,
Trying to solve what only You control.
But You are wiser, stronger than I’ll ever be,
So teach me, Lord, to just believe.
Teach me to trust when I can’t see the end,
When the road is unclear and the skies never bend.
You are my Shepherd, my Defender, my Guide,
In Your perfect love, I’ll forever abide.
I let go of fear, I hold on to grace,
You’re leading me forward, You’ve already made a way.
When fear starts to whisper and doubts fill the air,
I’ll anchor my soul in the truth that You care.
You see the picture I don’t understand,
So I’ll place my tomorrow in Your hands.
Let Your peace guard my heart,
Let Your wisdom lead my way.
Not my plans, but Yours, oh Lord,
I will follow, come what may.
